Parkland College launches official mobile app

September 8th, 2015

Parkland College is proud to announce the launch of its official mobile app just in time for Welcome Week. The Parkland College App is available now as a free download for iPhone and Android mobile phone users.

“The app gives our students another way to enhance their educational experience and connect with their College,” said President Dwayne Reeve. “It’s designed to help our students keep track of their busy schedules, stay in touch with campus news and events, and access great deals at local businesses.”

Students can create an account on the app to access their courses, receive important alerts, interact with the College on social media, and even chat with friends and classmates directly on the app.

The app was developed in partnership with OOHLALA Mobile. The Montreal-based company specializes in student engagement and has produced mobile apps for numerous post-secondary institutions across North America.
